Pf Changs
Affordale take out...... Pf Chang's chicken fried rice. Plenty to be a whole meal for 2.5 people and not that expensive.
Cell Phone vs. Home Phone
I spoke to my friend today who was asking me regarding cutting cost around the home to stretch the budget. We discussed that for the past 7 years, my husband and I have not had a home phone. We have solely relied on our cell phones. At this time we have not seen the real necessity to have a home line. Think about it.

Easy Creamy Dijon Drumsticks Recipe
Found this recipe http://www.delish.com/recipefinder/creamy-dijon-drumsticks-recipe
It is good and fast.
Ingredients
1 1/2 pound(s) small red potatoes, halved or quartered
8 medium chicken drumsticks, skin removed
3 tablespoon(s) Dijonnaise (creamy mustard)
2/3 cup(s) panko (Japanese-style bread crumbs)
2 stalk(s) celery
Salt and pepper
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Directions
Preheat oven to 450°F. In 4-quart saucepan, place potatoes, enough water to cover, and 1/2 teaspoon salt; heat to boiling on high. Reduce heat to medium-low; cover saucepan and simmer potatoes 10 to 12 minutes or until just fork-tender.
Meanwhile, line 15 1/2" by 10 1/2" jelly-roll pan with nonstick aluminum foil. Brush drumsticks with 3 tablespoons Dijonnaise and coat with panko, pressing to adhere. Place drumsticks on prepared pan and bake 25 minutes or until crumbs are golden and juices run clear when thickest part of chicken is pierced with tip of knife.
Drain potatoes well and place in medium bowl. Add sliced celery, 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, and remaining 1/4 cup Dijonnaise; stir to coat vegetables. Makes 5 cups potato salad. To serve, arrange salad and drumsticks on dinner plates.

The View discussion Heidi Montag
I sometimes day dream that I could co-host the show The View on ABC. I think that they need another host. This time one that would represent the over growing Hispanic community. Anyways, They were discussing Heidi Montag. What they forgot to mention was that Heidi is on her way to looking like Jocelyne Wildenstein, sometimes referred to as "The Lion Queen" or "The Cat Woman." Heidi actually looks good in the after pic in the spread that People magazine did. Ok, so her boobs look humongous but she over all looks improved. But when I saw the interview that they did for Good Morning America, OMG! Her face looks tight, plastic and scary. That is why I believe that she will be looking like the cat woman if she keeps it up.
Cell Phones.
I had a new cell phone and it got stolen. So I went back to my old razor phone and my husband dropped in a glass full of water ( what are the chances?). I took his old razor and my two year old put in her tub that at the time was full of water. So now I have my dinky old old old cell phone. I knew it was a good idea to keep it.
And no there is no way to recover it. Looked for a solution on the web but the only thing I found was to put it in a bag full of rice. It didn't work for me.

Oh no! Toilet
A close friend just emailed me saying that she needed me to call her. She had her cell phone in her back pocket of her pants and dropped it in the toilet . Therefore, loosing all of her #'s. I reminisced and shared that one summer after working at the bar I went to an after party. I needed to use the bathroom and had my car & house keys in my back pocket. As I flushed I saw in slow motion my keys go down the drain of the toilet.

Donating Breast Milk
Started the process again with Wakemed to donate my breast milk http://www.wakemed.org/body.cfm?id=135. I did it before when my 2 yo was a baby. I had and have so much breast milk in my freezer that my daughters luckily don't need. I would hate for it to go to waste. At the hospital the lactation specialist refer to it as "liquid gold." After someone refers to your breast milk that way you just can't throw it away. Plus it is so rewarding to think that preemie babies get the milk while they are in the incubators to make them grow stronger. Just like donating blood but better. The first step is you call 919.350.8599. They do a preleminary interview regarding your health and lifestyle. Then they send you some forms that you fill out, your obgyn and your pediatrician. The when you are ready they send you a cooler for the milk which over night ships. And that is it. There is a video that shows you the results http://cosmos.bcst.yahoo.com/up/player/popup/index.php?cl=7354579
Why a Blog? Why Not?
Petrified about writing a blog.
I am not the best creative writer and I tend to make the worst writing mistakes. I have very elementary writing skills but I said to myself that this can’t be the only reason to keep me away. Another fear is that people will hate me for my opinions but who is loved by everyone? I am afraid for my family’s privacy but who is really going to read this?
What is my purpose for this blog? I sometimes look for things on the web and I can’t find. When I eventually find the answer I think of anyone else that would want that info. When I am around friends and share experiences the sometimes say “you should write a blog.” So here it goes…….
